Fall Wedding in Miami

At the end of September, a young couple decided to start the season with saying "I do." They selected an intimate affair with about 20 family and friends at the family home. There was music, cake, and lots of pictures!

The groom is set to leave for the Army and will be joined by his new wife. Also, this month is special because it happens to include their dating anniversary. It is a pleasure to join couples that are in love and serve the U.S. military at the same time.

Hollywood Beach Nuptial

During the last week in August another couple decided to say, "I do" with JMK Notary & Services. It was a low key event and very intimate for the couple. The venue selected was perfect with palm trees and the ocean as the backdrop for photos.

For any couple that would like a more private affair for commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, or weddings this is a great location. It offers plenty of metered parking and close access to the beach. Even better, there is space on the boardwalk access to stand off of the sand for a small gathering. The cross streets are Jefferson Rd and Surf Rd. For an hour, expect to pay $1 for parking at the meter. Other than that, it is very easy to replicate this low key event.

To schedule a wedding or other special event, feel free to contact Jamie M. Kisner by going to the company Web site at http://flnotaryandweddingservices.com.

Key Biscayne Nuptials

In late June 2009, a happy couple traveled from Central Florida to wed in Miami. The beach themed event was attended by family. The Bill Baggs lighthouse spot was a great place to share in morning nuptials. The location only costs $5 per car and the toll to enter Key Biscayne is just over a $1. In addition, a couple can have a great inexpensive breakfast at Lighthouse Cafe, and have a great view of the lighthouse. There free tours of the lighthouse, and you can take unguided tours at your leisure to the top. This makes a wonderful wedding venue, or a nice weekend getaway!

To schedule nuptials like this one, contact JMK Notary & Services company Web site.

Key Largo Vow renewal

Today marks the first day of wedding month. However, this includes vow renewals for couples who are already married. It is a time to commemorate the life that couples share as husband and wife. Also, it is a nice reason to celebrate near the water. Key Largo is only 50 minutes from South Miami, and is a nice drive when there is good weather. It was a beautiful day and the couple was able to share their special day at their summer home with friends.

JM Family Enterprises honor

On April 16, 2009, at the Broward County Convention Center around 6:15pm there was a special event to honor people that have done extraordinary things to make an impact in South Florida. The 17th annual JM Family Enterprises African-American Achievers Awards included four distinguished adults and one teen. However, there were others that received recognition for their work with certificates, like myself. I am proud to be part of the South Florida community and be recognized for the time I share with outreach efforts, like the Partners for Self Employment. The two hour event was a time for learning, networking, and delicious food. The event was well attended and featured dancers and a live band for entertainment. As an invited guest, I was pleased to be among so many wonderful people and share in the experience. It was truly a motivational evening that will be remembered for years to come.

St. Patrick's Day Week Wedding

On Sunday, March 15, 2009, another happy couple said "I Do." The event theme was Las Vegas, and green was one of the main colors. This lovely backyard wedding had a backdrop of a lake and palm trees. This intimate ceremony was attended by family and friends of the couple. As the officiant, it was nice to see everyone happy and watching the slide show of the couple.

Valentine's Weekend Weddings

Love is definitely in the air. There were other couples that decided to marry at the same spot around the same time in Coral Gables at Matheson Park. There was plenty of people that were able to see the ceremony from the lagoon area as well. Best of all, there is plenty of parking and a restaurant, if you would like to partake.

As a wedding officiant, it is always a pleasure to participate in a couple's romantic affair near the water. This was a great way to end the weekend, and have a great view of Miami.

Permits are not needed, and it is a great place to relax and it appears that weekends are free. Being a mobile notary that performs weddings becomes more rewarding each time. South Florida seems to have plenty of spots for people in love to create the perfect outdoor wedding event.

Expansion for 2009

This year, JMK Notary & Services will be expanding into commercial inspections. This allows for a more variety of income opportunity. Interestingly, I did not have to do anything other than market my services well. The company found me! Therefore, this indicates the importance of SEO strategy to ensure a successful 21st Century business. 2009 will be the year of expansion in all forms for JMK Notary & Services.

The monthly seminars will continue. However, weekdays and weekends will alternate to provide better accessibility. Also, I plan to offer more with the seminars. This is still in the planning stages though. As for teaching at MDC, this is a great opportunity to expand into another area. Providing advice for an industry or sector that I know is the best job ever.

In summary, I look forward to sharing more advice online and elsewhere. More information can be found on the association Web site for upcoming events. Check out recent information for the mobile signing agent sector at http://www.ehow.com/how_4748889_as-mobile-notary-signing-agent.html.

Happy New Year

This week, 2009 came in with a bang. My business has work already lined up, and already started earning revenue. I attribute the success to well thought out planning, and providing good customer service. I believe that any home based operation can be successful with the right work put in. For instance, networking and volunteering at the same time is a great method.

Today, I hosted the first weekend seminar for "Tips for Home Based Operations" and it was great. However, due to my busy schedule, this will not be possible every month. I look forward to 2009, and all it has to offer.

In summary, I wish all my seminar attendees much success in their endeavors. I plan to continue offering seminars free to the community, and making an impact.

New Year: New Hope

As this year comes to a close, the prospects for a better tomorrow is grim. However, people are becoming creative to sustain their businesses. For instance, JMK Notary & Services has expanded into medical and inspection by partnering with other companies. Therefore, this seems to be the way of the future in order to remain strong. Implementing cost saving strategies and charging surcharges help the bottom line too. For the monthly seminar, "Tips for Home Based Operations" hosted by JMK Notary & Services has a cash and PayPal payment policy for support materials from the event. This month's event was canceled, but will resume on January 3, 2009. The information will be revamped and better than ever! I look forward to the new year and our new leadership in the White House.

Voting protects your business interests

In every election, there is some issue that could influence how well your business will do. Too many Americans lack the interest, but in this election, it seems to be different. This should be an election when we all see real change. The more active participation fosters accountability in the minds of politicians. Therefore, we all get the benefits.

Interest rates for CDs, and money market accounts may decrease due the bailout bill passing, so be prepared. This seems to be the downside of political involvement. Perhaps, if we speak up now, this will not happen. Active participation is the key. Check www.bankrate.com for more information concerning comparative interest rates on risk free investments. Voting and voicing concerns has never been easier with Internet and online petitions, so make use of them.

JMK Notary & Services held another free seminar at the Partners for Self-Employment office and current market issues were discussed to attendees. A companion spreadsheet was added to the presentation order, and it helps organize the viral marketing efforts. To learn more, visit http://www.jmkhomebasedassociation.com and click on the "home based" link. Making viral marketing easier has become a passion, and election participation will provide a stake in the process. Better assistance for things, like hiring knowledgable personnel in state agencies will make life as a business owner simpler. Voting is a right, and responsibility for business owners along with the rest of the nation.

How to keep your credit score high when it is required

As a notary, I have access to client's credit scores frequently when dealing with mortgage documents or car purchases. As a consumer about to make a big purchase or move into an apartment, you should obtain your own credit report. The reason is when creditors and banks look at the information, it could potentially lower your score by 100pts according to a article in the National Notary Association Magazine.

Suggestions for raising the credit score are: paying off the credit cards two months before, pay any past due bills, and pay any unpaid parking tickets because they could influence the credit score. Remember to strive for 750 credit score to avoid any chances of not being approved for the desired purchase. Don't forget every year, anyone can obtain the credit report for free from the major three monitoring companies. Equafax, TransUnion, and Experian all offer online services as well.

Be smart about your credit score by thinking of it as your adult report card! It stays on your permanent record, so be vigilant about keeping it looking good. You never know when you may need to use credit for an emergency.
